2. Data We Collect
Account information (name, email), trading journal entries, session bookings, billing records, referral activity, support tickets, and usage analytics.
3. Lawful Basis
We process data based on contract performance (providing the service), legitimate interest (platform improvement), and consent (marketing communications).
4. Data Retention
To recover a self-closed account, contact support within 30 days. After reviewing your request, support can email you a single-use recovery link. You must then sign in with your existing security settings. After 30 days, recovery and new registration using the same account details are permanently blocked. We retain hashed email, phone, username and linked sign-in identifiers indefinitely to enforce this restriction, separately from retained account records. Account data is retained while your account is active plus 2 years. Journal data is retained until you delete it or close your account. Billing records are kept for 7 years per KRA requirements.
5. Your Rights
Under the Data Protection Act 2019, you may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data. Contact [email protected].
6. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. Report breaches to [email protected] immediately.
7. Third Parties
We share data with payment processors (Stripe, M-Pesa providers), video session hosts, and analytics providers under data processing agreements.
