The mining world is incredibly dynamic, which means there is an infinite amount of trading opportunities. No matter what time of the day it is, there is always time and an asset available to trade

However, when it comes to stock trading, that is dependent on the trading hours of their local stock markets. For example, a stock listed on the Dow Jones exchange will only be available when that market opens.

Here are is a schedule as to when daily activity begins and ends on the 5 Major Stock Exchanges (All times are GMT based)

If you look at the above data, you will see that there are certain times that various markets overlap with each other:

These overlap times are when the market is most active. In other words those times have the potential to be the most profitable
Generally, it is best to concentrate your trading activity during the trading hours for the three largest market centers: New York, London and Tokyo. Most market activity will occur when one of these three markets open.

Certain weekly or monthly events can additionally drive a greater than normal volume of trading. For example the NFP report or a country’s interest rate statement garners a much more expansive trading volume.
